Construction Details:

Everything is hand made by me, including the wings. There is no real harness for the wings other than a waist cincher and a corset so that they are free standing and actually look like they are coming out of my back. The dress and black top are hand painted and beaded. I hand dyed to get that particular gold look for the gloves and choker and the patterns for the arm pieces and the neck piece were all drafted by me.

Personal Thoughts:

I finally had the confidence to make Jibril's artbook dress!!! As many know, I am known as the "Kimono Queen" because costume wise, that's my specialty. However, I finally decided to go outside my comfort zone and do something completely different.

I know I took a few creative liberties with the costume because well, the entire picture is a shot of her bust up and only one arm. Go figure. Over all it was an enjoyable experience that I learned a lot from; and although I do prefer my kimono costumes, I think I may just go outside my comfort zone a bit more.
