Construction Details:

Coat: was freehanded and fully lined. He sort of has this weird collar lining vs. jacket lining that was a bit difficult to figure out

Cape: was also freehanded with white ribbed cotton then dyed orange. It is attached with snaps onto the coat

Gloves: I got a pair of regular leather gloves and painted the underpart with white fabric paint

Scarf: Was made of twill (not a good fabric to dye, it doesn't take to color very well), painted on a freehanded design with black fabric paint, then gradient dyed teal. The strings hanging down is string that you use for friendship bracelets which I cut out and sewed onto another smaller piece of fabric, then slipped into the opening and top-stitched.

Pouch: Freehanded and functional!

Pants: Worked off of a sweat pants pattern I had and then severely altered by adding 4 functional pockets & sectioned it off into 3 pieces.

Personal Thoughts:

I tried to make his costume as accurate as possible, even down to each seam. But of course its final fantasy so that was impossible for me.

BUT HE'S MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!
