Construction Details:

Ellen's Cloak of Midnight Sun is essentially her endgame outfit, and the detail on it is intense. (As is the detail on her Cloak of Sidhe) The total amount of trim on the cloak, skirt and boots totaled just shy of 45 yards. (Thank the heavens for eBay and being able to buy trim in bulk!)

As with Judith, if I ever were insane enough to remake this costume, there are a number of things I would do differently. The fabric I used is atrocious to work with (crepe back satin), but it was the only thing that reflected light the way I wanted it to.

I also hand-made all of the buttons on my costume, and hand-colored the cuff and collar. Whew!

Personal Thoughts:

Folklore is an amazing game that so few people have played! Krell and I made the decision to cosplay Keats and Ellen without hesitation.

This is EASILY the most comfortable costume I've made!
