Construction Details:

this link costume wasn't challenging at all as I thought it would be. the tunic is very basic sewing, but the hat required perfect sewing that I successfully did on my second attempt, wich only took me like one hour to finish the hat. the brown belt is fabric I was saving to make the boots for the costume when I could learn how to make shoes, but I folded the fabric then sewed it. the belt piece is made out of model magic that I clear coated with clear gloss enamel. and the long sleeve undershirt was something I bought for the costume and the leggings and boots were clothing that I personally owned. to keep the hat more secure to my wig, I sewed to small wig clips into them, following Malindachan's tutorial on arda-wigs

Personal Thoughts:

its been last year since I started adoring toon link. so this year, I decided I should cosplay him. ever since I was 12, I've been wanting to be physical and talented like link. inspired by this character, I've been trying to be fearless ever since and show true courage. the costume was didn't have much of its challenges. though I've never made a link hat from scratch before, it was still pretty easy making it on my second try. the tunic was very basic to sew. however I had to resize it because I made it too big when I first finished it. its so much fun dressing up as a boy and the best thing about it is that theres no eye makeup required except for the eyebrows if that counts XD. just like how the costume apears, its very comfterble to wear and it can keep me warm in the cold weather. even when its just link from wind waker I adore, I still somewhat hope to do exciting photoshoots from other games. like maybe riding the Spirit Train in Spirit Tracks XD
