Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: The fabrics we chose for the all of the drapes. It's an organza from the Suede Says collection, which is a bit heavier than the chiffon we thought of using, but it's two-toned, so depending on the lighting it changes from purple to pink to blue. :)

Least Favorite Aspect: Because of time, we purchased zentai-suits. Mine wasn't as form fitting as we were hoping it would be, and I took it in quite a bit, but it still didn't conform to my body the way I had hoped it would. Both of our paint jobs were pretty special. Painting body suits is hard!

I also had an extremely difficult time keeping my top in place, which made me look even shorter than usual. I'm probably going to have to sew it in place!

Easiest Task: Making all of the drapes for the arm and waist. Also, making all of the cuffs - they were all cut and molded from wonderflex backed with crafted foam and then painted.

Least Favorite Aspect: Making the ears - made out of interfacing and wonderflex, they were also the most uncomfortable part of the costume.

Also, the necklaces. Egyptian styled things like that just aren't in style anymore.

Personal Thoughts:

There are parts of this costume I'd like to remake, but I think for the time spent on it, it came out rather well.

Styling Notes

This wig was restyled countless times to try and get the braiding as accurate as possible. D: Never again!
