Construction Details:

It was my first time using a pattern and first time sewing a jacket. I (uncessfully) modified the pattern and came out with an okay (understatement) looking bolero vest. The inside is a complete mess and the skirt was too short but it didn't really matter to me as I'd be cosplaying with my brother for the first time and that's what made me the happiest about this costume. It's probably my most comfortable to wear and most favorite to wear so far!

Though the bolero is actually horrendous and the skirt I pretty much gave up on trying to look nice. It's too short and uneven but as long as it photographed well...

The choker was made using leftover fabric from my season 3 Daenerys dress and some random lace. The pendant was bought from League of Shadows on etsy.

Personal Thoughts:

This started as one of my "eventual dream cosplays" and ended up being a cosplay I did anyway, haha. I had the idea that my brother would match me as Booker DeWitt if and only if he'd be able to attend Anime Boston with me. I started working on Elizabeth slowly, since I wasn't sure if my brother could come. I found out two weeks before the convention that he'd be able to attend and furiously tried to finish a bolero, circle skirt, and vest for the both of us!
