Construction Details:

I made the patterns and sewed/constructed about half of each costume, Jacaranda took care of the wigs and sewed/constructed the other half. The hat was patterned with paper and tape and then made out of cardboard and covered in fabric. The dress has a shirred panel in the back so it would fit both of us well.

Personal Thoughts:

Made in co-ordination with Jacaranda so we could switch off wearing Cordelia and Peridot. This was fun to wear, more people recognized it than I thought would. I want to remake the brim of the hat though, since we were still putting together parts of it at the con and I didn't realize the underside would be what showed up more in photos than the top. I also don't have a handle on what faces or poses to make yet. :/

Wig Review

Jacaranda took care of cutting the bangs in and styling the wig.
