Construction Details:

Creating the pattern was the hardest part of the costume, because for some strange reason I couldn't execute it properly in my mind. I spent a good few months planning patterns and what not, so that is why I spent so little time actually making the costume.

I used bridal fabric for the white part, so it's very soft, light, and flow-y. The red is felt and card-stock, and the blue borders and detailing was all... costume satin? I believe? Anyhow, I cut a lot of corners (literally) because I did not know how to do borders at all. Also, the grommets are curtain grommets, and the rings were also curtain rings.

The eye-patch was made at the hotel, with cheapo-depo craft foam.

I also painted my nails/toe-nails for this! HAHA!

Personal Thoughts:

I really wanna wear her again soon, but only after I get a new wig! Because this thing was crazy long and super tangled!!

My second costume!! I was super proud of this one really! I made the whole thing in a course of a week, right before I had to leave for the convention...!

And by now, I learned about textures and what not from my new friends I had met at the past convention!

Styling Notes

I had no idea what I was doing. Really. Don't get a super long wig as a second wig. Take it from experience. I had no idea what I was doing. But I tried.
