Construction Details:

Firstly, the bodysuit was completely made by my stepmom, Trinh. I was kind of sad because I wanted to watch her make it and hopefully learn a thing or to. But, at least I have a nice body suit reference for future body suits.

The jacket was something I got cheap off Ebay and then cut in half. Sadly I cut it a bit too much, and then my sewing machine didn't like the fabric very much and made it all bunched up. I gave up sewing it halfway and glued the rest of it.

I was short on time since I was making other people's costumes too, so the patches on the shoulders are just red fabric with black fabric marker on them. I'll work on better ones for next time!

The boot covers were kind of annoying, but I just used the method I generally use, which is tracing/pinning fabric around the boot and cutting out two halves. Then, sew them together in the front and sew a zipper in the back. These are my very first thigh high boot covers, so they're a bit shoddy. But, I'm pretty happy with them.

The gloves were just traces of my hand cut out on two pieces of fabric and then sewed together. They ended up way too tight, one more than the other. So, I ended up wearing only one glove at a time. New, bigger gloves shall be made later.

As for the wig, I attempted to trim some of the bangs off of a red, brown wig that I got off of Ebay. Then, I wefted/hot glued white wefts into the front for the bangs. To keep them out of my face, I painted some bobby pins white and pulled the white back. A bit of hot glue was used at the ends of the bobby pins to help keep it in place.

Personal Thoughts:

This was super fun to wear and made a lot of people smile at DCC, which made me happy!
