Construction Details:

Wig: Purchased a Jane in Spanish brown from Arda-Wigs. I straightened the curls out, and re-curled it using magnetic curlers. I used a hair dryer to heat the curls and left them in the curlers, then spayed them with Got2b glued blasting Freeze Spray. The bangs where trimmed and curled under.
Dress: I used New Look 6468 for the dress. I made a few adjustments in the pattern to make it work. I changed the opening to the front rather than the back and used a 24" zipper down the front. The straps close using overall buckles. I made two back pockets and sewed details to them and attached them to the back. All edges are serged.
Zipper Pull: I made the shell? from Model magic, painted it silver and varnished it. It attaches using clear hair ties so it can be removed.
Boots: Purchased from Wal-mart. They were the first things I bought for the costume!
Necklace: I made the shell? from Model magic, painted it silver and varnished it.
Nunchucks: Made from two dowel rods, painted red and used electrical tape to make the black stripes, they each have an eye that a ring is attached to connecting to the plastic chain.

Personal Thoughts:

I love Selphie so much! This was the first Final Fantasy that I ever played and the one that got me hooked. I loved getting to play her for 2 days at A-Kon and I can't wait to do it again at Anime Fest!

Wig Review

I felt horrible straightening the wig because it was beautiful, but the end result was perfect!
