Construction Details:

This costume was not "difficult" per se... but I learned a lot of new techniques while making it, and it was challenging to be accurate and careful with this outfit's construction. Ed is a character that means a lot to me, so I wanted to make sure that my work reflected that.

Personal Thoughts:

I wanted to make Ed as perfectly as possible, so I worked extra hard to make everything as accurately as I could. I made nearly every piece of this costume - jacket, coat, undershirt, belt, shoes. It took a couple of weeks to finish everything, and I even styled his wig from scratch. rnrnOnly the gloves, pocketwatch, and pants were not made by me.

Styling Notes

Had to straighten and then cut the Claudia - it felt like a huge waste of hair, but I wanted to make sure I had enough volume and length for the braid and thus I had to buy a much longer wig than I needed. Wefts were sewn into the front of the wig to create the bangs, and the wig was finally styled after all the prep work was completed.

Wig Review

I was very pleased with the end result of this wig. I thought the color was too yellow at first, but it ended up working really well!
