Construction Details:

Due to time constraints on my part, most of the outfit was made by friends. I did, however, make the seashells. They're made out of plain cotton fabric with two layers of batting in the middle. The ridges in the seashells were made by stitching down the shells, to create an overall quilted effect.

Personal Thoughts:

I was a little nervous about wearing this costume (mostly out of modesty), but once I put it on, I felt incredible, confident, and kind of like a princess... It was also super comfortable, and looks great.
