Construction Details:

Started off with a princess seam dress for the top, modded it so the panels would be wider on the sides since the tiered skirt would be constricted if i hadn't widened it haha

the tiered skirt- i purchased a vintage pattern that was a tiered skirt, and it worked out so well!

Personal Thoughts:

This was done to match sparklepipsi's idol venus, it turned out really cute somehow! I re-interpreted rei's original design to be more exaggerated and eye-catching with color, and fabric choices and making her skirt design much more fluffy. I'm really happy I went with golds because it was a lot more flattering for my reeeally pale skin-tone lol!
