Construction Details:

i'm super duper not-happy with this costume, it needs a lot of sprucing off! first off, fuck sailor collars. i suck at attaching them and the collar crinkled and folded very oddly. the skirt and top are made from a navy kona cotton, the top has a side zip. the sleeves are a little funny in the sense if i lift my arms up a lot they get tight and my tummy shows.

i still need to add her chest and shoulder logos, but 3 days before fanime i decided "FUCK IT"

i lost like 5-10 pounds after i made the skirt, so it unfortunately fits really loosely! the pleats need a lot of starching and ironing to stay right, and unfortunately i didn't have time before i left for fanime that day, and later when i tried to before a shoot, hot glue that was on the iron (??? dont ask me why) got on the butt of my skirt. SO THAT'S GREAT but yeah it needs some work before i feel happy with it

Personal Thoughts:

fukawa was never really my favorite DR girl, but i grew to love her as i kept reading/sewing! (and learned to hate bias tape entirely)
