Construction Details:

Mostly crepe fabric (I was not going to start with spandex, plus it did not come in correct shades). I also used vinyl and craft foam for details, sculptey for necklace, and iron on designs. Also, paper fasteners are the little bolt details.

Bowblade by my talented sister, Baffled Cosplay!! Her second prop: it transforms to-from blade to bow form with no extra pieces, constructed mostly from insulation foam.

Personal Thoughts:

This was my first cosplay to handmake, and I learned how to sew with it! I made it for Otakon 2012, which my second Anime Convention :) Bowblade was made by my sister Baffled Cosplay, and it was her second prop. It transforms from said blade into bow-form with no extra parts.

Styling Notes

I literally cut it 5 minutes before leaving hotel for convention because my sister had kept promising to trim and style it on my head (which is much smaller than wig heads) but she didn\'t, so I resorted to use the wig head. I didn\'t know how to style bangs (and it was a very thick wig) so I desperately chopped inaccurate bowl bangs, then pulled into pony and trimmed back hairs.

Wig Review

My first wig ever. It was beautiful, heat resistant and pretty. I just killed it with poor, fast cut job. Arda wigs also run big, which wasn\'t so great for my abnormally small head.
