Construction Details:

Everything I wore was bought online, except I made the lovely light yellow spandex gloves! I added ribbon to the hat and made bows for the boots that I hot glued on. I made the guitar using three layers of insulation foam which were glued together using gorilla glue. I then cut out the guitar, sanded, then added spackling to the edges, then sanded some more. I then coated the whole thing with some layers of mod podge. The guitar was then coated with primer and red spraypaint. Then I painted the details using acrylic paint. Other details were added using craft foam painted with acrylic, mod podged styrofoam, painted water bottle caps, plastic string, and painted wooden hangers. Pretty proud of the bass guitar as it's one of my first props. I wore Kryolan body paint, aqua color contacts from PinkyParadise.com, and SexyBite fangs.

Personal Thoughts:

Marceline is such a great, well developed character and I love all of her outfits! This one is probably my favorite and the episode is one of my favorites as well. Marceline just pours her heart out to PB... so many feelings!

Styling Notes

The day of the con, I quickly trimmed the front of the wig a bit just to add a layer to it. Not too happy with how it turned out, but I'll adjust it next time I wear her.
