Construction Details:

All pieces were made with my own crafted patterns.
Hairpiece was discovered on the streets of Florence, Italy (I kid you not. It was destiny? XDD), and supported by the dress and bow fabric.
Bow is a hydrid cotton velvet.
Shirt was made from a lightweight cotton sateen and lined with a white cotton. Buttons are anodized gold and black stone from Italy.
My corset and skirt fabric consists of heavy satin that was hand-painted with four shades of Jacquard Lumiere fabric paint (Metallic Russet, Burnt Orange, Brass, Metallic Olive Green) and lined with yellow flocked damask. The corset includes white steel and plastic boning. The skirt is a whooping total of 36 yards of fabric--3 of the lining and fabric for the 3-part circle skirt, and 15 of the lining and fabric gathered at the bottom.
The tights were purchased from Sock Dreams, and the shoes from Italy.

Personal Thoughts:

I never thought I would end up doing ANOTHER version of Luka...but she was so pretty and when the opportunity for a masquerade skit rose, I decided to take on the challenge.

I will never, ever gather painted-on fabric again. Ever.

Styling Notes

I bought the wig sometime ago, and it was a defective wig so it came with a ponytail that I added the wefts into the base wig for extra volume. It was treated with fabric softener to straighten it (which is absolutely amazing XD)

Wig Review

I adore this wig so much. It's been with me for almost all my Luka cosplays and I wouldn't have it any other way.
