Construction Details:

I patterned the jackets and sewed them from cream-coloured gabardine and lining. I made the sleeves first: finished cuffs and the random puff cap sleeve situation I managed to fake. Because of the little cut out loop design at the back of the neck, I chose to put an invisible zipper installed upside down on the side. It ends underneath the arm so it's kind of a pull on shirt and then the side zips up to close everything. Handsewing of biastape and lace was completed with lots of handsewing help from QuantumDestiny who also made the dickies out of white poplin, piping, and snaps. They velcro onto tight white t-shirts we wore underneath and the bows snap onto the dickies. I wore regular black tights and my shoes have a heel cuz I needed to be taller than QD.
My wig was a gray 'homura' wig from 'cosplaywig' on ebay which was just two of em put together. QD made an amazing Madoka wig with the zigzag part n everything cuz we wanna reenact the 'hug' scene. Anyway, I got purple contacts from pinkyparadise but they died cuz I can't wear those cheap contacts for more than once so I gotta get some more I guess. I also bought their rings off ebay but I dunno where I put them now........... all in all, to be worn again.
