Construction Details:

The top was made out of upholstery fabric that I had to color to Terra Cotta. I wanted to make it out of pleather/leather or suede but nothing around me carried it and it was too expensive to get online... so I used what I had available. The ruffled part is just cotton that I ruffled and sewed on because I didn't want to attempt ruffling upholstery hahaha. The pearls consist of off white, pink, and purple and were hand sewed on. The buckles on the side were also hand sewed. Also - I never want to make a shirt out of upholstery fabric again.

The shorts are an olive cotton that I cut into strips, sewed together, and then sewed the shorts together. It's an elastic band style because LOL NO TO FLYS AND BUTTONS. Pretty pleased with my first pair of shorts.

The glove is corduroy because I was apparently on drugs when I bought it or something because WHY DID I BUY CORDUROY?! Whatever. I'll make a new one later hahaha. The black straps on it are actually from a belt buckle that I cut and wrapped around my arm.

The olive arm band is the same material as the shorts and, again, I used an old belt as the buckle. The blue strips on her back are blue cotton with white piping and are attached to two pieces I made out of EVA foam. Her claw is made out of EVA foam and a wooden dowel. Her arm piece is the same upholstery and is attached via strips of elastic down the entire length and the top silver piece is again.... EVA foam. There are also feathers at the end of her braids and some bobbypins I painted blue in her hair. Heck yes using crap around my apartment~

The boots were a lucky find from a thrift store that I painted, added green strips, feathers [with pearls - DETAILS GUYS], and the green back section.

Styling Notes

Basically took out the ponytail attachement. Altered the wig to actually fit my head. Then called it a day.

Wig cap is was a bit larger then my head so I had to alter it.
