Personal Thoughts:

My friend and I cosplayed Mousse and Shampoo from Ranma 1/2 since we're both Rumiko Takahashi fans!! <3 My friend makes the perfect Shampoo!!

I originally wanted to do the manga version and have some kind of pattern on my top, but I gave up on that idea since it was tedious XD and instead, I opted for the anime version. It was basically my first time really dealing with lining so I had to figure it all out, but it worked out okay. I wanted to also use stretch sateen for a little fancy sheen instead of twill which I always use for EVERYTHING but the day I decided to go to Joann, they were out of stock -.- So I ended up using white twill and yellow lining for the top, and some leftover black twill for the sleeve ends and scrap fabric for the pattern on the front. The red sash is made of leftover red twill. The pants are yoga pants (really soft too! <333) that I tied at the bottom with red bias tape. The glasses are Harry Potter glasses that I painted white, and the shoes are the same ones I wore for Maid Azusa (K-On!). The wig is also the same as the one I used for Katsura/Nobume (Gintama). Yay for leftovers and recycling cosplay stuff!

It was nice to see that there are still lots of Ranma fans although you don't see too much cosplay of it around much anymore. I'm happy I was recognized as Mousse! And I love my Shampoo!! <333
