Construction Details:

The sweater started out as a thrift-store find in the exact color and style I needed, and the mushroom was needle felted on to it. The felting process took maybe a few hours at most total, and that was with me picking up the technique as I went. Since the sweater is wool as well, the end result looked clean enough for several people to ask me "where I bought it from."

Styling Notes

The wool sweater likes to pill, and those pills like getting stuck in the tangles of the wig. The pills make the tangles worse, and the tangles attract more pills... it's a vicious cycle.
