Construction Details:

This was my first time no following a specific pattern, and I actually made it from splicing two patterns together...only for it not to fit me.

I had to take it in a lot so it would fit me tightly.

The coif was made by following a colonial coif pattern I found online, I made a mockup, and one I was pleased by how it fit, I made the real one.

The veil is just a long rectangle of fabric sewn together and adjusted to fit my habit.

The habit was made by taking posterboard paper and adjusting it to fit my head and the general shape I wanted, then I made a cover out of fabric and put it over the posterboard and painted the trinity symbol on

Personal Thoughts:

I decided to cosplay Double on a whim once Skullgirls came out in April of 2012.
As my favorite character, I knew I had to cosplay her
I was actually surprised a lot of people knew who I was since the game had only come out two months before

Ask me why it's never a good idea to cosplay a fully covered nun in the NJ summer heat

Wig Review

The wig was a little small for my head (22in) but it held up pretty good for the weekend.

I wouldn't suggest getting this wig if you're cosplaying someone who doesn't have most of their hair covered though
