Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: The ribbons in the back. We replaced the pink ones with red, and had them hang all the way down the corset in the back in a huge bow. They were so pretty.

Easiest Task: Finding a dress that we could rip apart. We added Sakura's circles on it, with some red trim and ribbons, and give her a red shawl with the circle on the back of it as well.

Least Favorite Aspect: The shawl. While it has the Haruno circle on the back, it was really difficult to sew the satins together, and then keep it straight on my back so you knew what it was.

Personal Thoughts:

I was inspired by the ball at AWA. The first thing I thought of when I was reading the dress code, was think: "Wouldn't it be great to have a Sakura ball gown 'cause I love Sakura soooo much?" It was my first time attending AWA, and my second time attending an out of state con - and my first time attending a formal ball.
