About this Costume
Construction Details:
i patterned the suit using a method suggested to me by mostflogged. i made a mock up body suit and drew the pattern onto the suit and cut it out then transferred to paper. the black parts are matte stretch vinyl and the blue is regular spandex.

i painted my face white using a mixture of really light foundation and white face paint. the black is just face paint i set with powder. used the same black face paint for my lips and set with black and blue powder.

the arm straps are made from cheap belts i ordered on ebay. i took off the leather end piece, cut them shorter and sewed the leather part back on. i also added small round studs to those straps and painted the leather parts because they were originally brown. i used the leftover pieces of webbing to make the chest harness along with various buckles and such i had laying around. i bought the belt at the army ranger surplus store and painted the buckle silver. also bought the pouches at the army ranger surplus store and painted them brown with spray paint. bought the gloves on ebay and added studs to the strap. i had the knee pads laying around and i painted them blue to match the suit. the boots are from my other domino costume, bought at payless. the soles literally fell off half way through the day at the convention, i need to glue those back on.
Personal Thoughts:
been wanting to do this for a long time. domino is so bad ass. almost everyone does the x force version with the plain black cat suit so i decided to do something a little different. really happy with the way this turned out especially since i wanted to rage quit more than once.

Styling Notes
i pretty much butchered this wig. i really shouldn't have bought the long version but i figured better safe than sorry. i also added a couple dark blue wefts to the front of the wig just because. it's not part of the original design but i thought it would look cool.
