Construction Details:

The costume itself is pretty basic. Light blue lycra bodysuit with royal blue and black lycra appliques. Royal blue and black lycra for the booty shorts, gloves, and boot covers. And a light blue fleece beetle bag, with a tiny laser keychain. Goggles that were just bought and modified with craft foam. And a toy space gun which is inaccurate and unmodified, but it lights up and makes noise so I'm totally cool with it.

Personal Thoughts:

Originally, I was planning on doing Jaime BB, but I didn't think I would be able to do it properly in the time I had. So since I had a friend going as Booster Gold and I like the JLI, I decided to go as Ted Kord.

Now, I'm not built like an Olympian-level male athlete. (SURPRISE!) So this can either be an Earth-11 Ted OR (our preferred reason) Booster was rummaging around in Zatanna's room and left Ted's business card causing him to be the one that Zatanna took her revenge on. .... :D Or just a plain, jane gender-bend.

Also, Matt Sturges (one of the writers of the 2006 Blue Beetle comic series) complimented my costume at C2E2. :3
