Styling Notes

Favorite Aspect: Learning how to curl a wig (finally). The fact that these are pretty little ringlets impresses me. The fact that I learned how to cut bangs and curl wigs this summer greatly amuses me. We spent a lot of money on different curlers of every size and type (even water bottle-curlers), and hair products attempting this wig (Which isn't good). Least Favorite Task: Well. When I finally got the wig to curl in smaller curls (after a month), she insisted we wash it out and try to make the accurate huge curls, because it seemed that no one had accomplished that task yet. It was unsuccessful. Apparently, the general rule is you can have smaller curls for this wig, because the giant curls are too heavy to hold (so she decided she wanted me to go back to the original style D:). I would love to learn a way to actually make this an accurate wig one day. Hardest Task: Oh God. I spent all two months of my summer learning how to curl wigs just for this task. Her wig wouldn't take to any of the methods we tried (Steaming, Boil Perm, etc). So I spent a lot of time rewashing this wig out, and trying again. I am a master curler now.
