Construction Details:

Everything except for the gloves, shoes, and bow tie were made by me. Medals are made out of craft foam and custom painted. Outfit is a mixture of cotton sateen and satin. Machine embroidered the circles/bars, beaded the circles, custom made the "trim" (if that's what you can call it). He has a lot of small details that I had to put in, which apparently showed up really well on camera.

Personal Thoughts:

Oh this costume. It was quite an undertaking, having to sew and tailor men's clothing to fit me. Had to do custom embroidery, beading...all within a week's time. But, that's what you get when you do a big piece after doing 2 other costumes for back to back cons. I also decided to make him white vs the weird light baby lavender that he is in the anime. He appears so briefly in the manga that I felt it would be fine to make him be white/silver vs purple/white. Also, it allowed myself and my Serenity to be a matched set.

I've got tweaking to do before I wear him again, but hopefully people will enjoy the work I put into the costume.

Styling Notes

His darn cowlick/swoop/wavy hair. I tried to get it to mimic the manga as much as possible.

Wig Review

This was the first time a wig was actually "big" on my head. It was a neat feeling.
