Construction Details:

The skirting is made from casa satin and does have the pleats placed into the front section. I added the blue spike section to the skirting layer so that it wouldn't move around as much. The top is made out of a mixture of white and blue duponi silk, fun cotton lining, and a soft light blue spandex for the sleeves. The top is fully lined and is boned with multiple pieces of steel to help give the correct shape. The necklace and crown are made from foamy that has been covered in resin to harden it and then blinged out with swarovski crystals.

Personal Thoughts:

Aurora is one of my favorite Disney Princesses, so I have always wanted to make her. The hardest part of this costume was deciding if it should be blue, pink, or just splash the colors together. I ended up going with the blue variation though after much deliberation.
