Construction Details:

the top- I used cotton for the mint part, and used red cotton and white twill for the collar. For the clouds, I painted it on with gold and white acrylic paint. The decorative piece, I tied a gold elastic cord to the hanging tassel by putting it into the bead. The bead is a wooden craft bead that I painted blue.
The bows- I made them out of cotton and sewed the little bells into the band. I then attached them to a hair clips.
The skirt- Red cotton gathered. I made a stencil thru cardstock and used it to paint on the gold design on the bottom.
The shoes- I made the decorative pieces out of craft foam and bent them over my foot. I painted on the design with acrylic paint, and then glued them onto my shoes straps.
The arm guards are bought from big 5, the white strips under are just scrap fabric that I wrapped around. I left them fraying because I thought it give it a more tough look.
The bag- you can't really see it, but I made it out of cotton and thick interfacing. It is held together with Velcro, and we made an iron on design to be our guild logo.

Personal Thoughts:

Made for famine 2011 with a buncha friends for a big ro group, since we used to play in high school :)
