Construction Details:

headband- I made the design and put it on a really thick piece of interfacing, and then glued it on top of a plastic headband. For the cupcake, I made a brown circle for the top and a rectangle of the gold, sewed it together, stuffed it, then tucked in the fabric and glued it on the headband. I then glued the beads on the sides.
cape- the cape is made with a burgundy cotton on the inside, and a blue polyester on the outside. I used gold trim for the detail, and glued on the half round plastic beads. It's my favorite piece!
inside shirt- made from a white cotton, I made it a flared sleeve and flared top. I made the designed trim with gold satin bias tape, burgundy cotton, and fray checked and heat bonded all the gold circles on ( I did this for the headband too!). I then heat and bonded and glued this onto the shirt because it was then too thick to sew x___X;;
pants- I used the blue polyester and put elastics on the leg ends and waist to make it a bit more gathered puffy.
leg armor- I made it with craft foam, and just painted gold. I used adhesive Velcro to close the ends together.

the book- I actually borrowed this from kotodama, she used it for a previous costume and it looked like the one I needed 8D;;;

Done for a suikoden tierkreis group with kotodama and another friend for fanime 2010.
