Construction Details:

Jewelry was all hand made using brass filigree, chains, and resin gems. The shoes were altered to match the filigree.

The dress was made out of a crinkle chiffon, and I digitized the designs that are embroidered along the sleeves and skirt. I trimmed the edge of the skirt with a heavy weight indian style bias tape.

The cincher is made with white pleather, and fully boned. I created embroidered appliques that I glued on to the cincher.

Personal Thoughts:

This costume was my 2013 WCS Prelim costume. I tried really hard to amp Soma's design up a bit to match the beauty of Kendappa. I had a lot of fun doing the embroidery and jewelry.
