Construction Details:

The black diamond trim is done with ribbon and LOTS of heat 'n bond! I went through four spools of ribbon and one and a third rolls of heat 'n bond, while wrecking the bottom of my iron. The red gem is actually attached to the wig and not the headscarf, which I plan to fix so everything is aligned.

Personal Thoughts:

First made for ALA '13! It was my first big photoshoot so I was pretty nervous ><;;; up until then I'd just derped with friends with selcas or tripods and careful timer setting.

This costume is the "wow I've still got so much more to learn" costume in which I found out sewing really is only half the battle, www. I plan to fix the wig and props and makeup better.
