Construction Details:

Bikini top is wetlook vinyl. I made a pattern and whipped it together. I had to add padding in the cups since I'm nowhere close to her size...and I couldn't get there, but HEY, it was something! This part needs to be redoooone.

Shorts were bought and I just sliced into the top for the V. These need to be redone.

Belt was white marine vinyl wrapped around fun foam and then studded with studs from studsandspikes.com. NEED TO REDO THIS. O.O; The buckle is styrene that I painted silver and attached with velcro.

Boots were a FUN project! :D I found a great base that had zippers on the outsides, so that was half the battle right there! I then floral spray painted them white and painted the red flames with Jaquard textile paint. The zipper teeth are thick fun foam and the zipper is styrene.

The bangles are wooden bracelets that I wrapped in the same wetlook vinyl as the top/sleeve and then I made resin gems and glued them on. The gloves and bangles have velcro to keep them from moving around. :)

Personal Thoughts:

I loved this series as I love all Gainax crazypants stuff. <3
Yoko was fucking cool as shit (DON'T FUCKING CARE IF YOU DISAGREE. GO AWAY) and despite the fact that I lack the assets she does, I wanted to do my best and try to pull her off.
I took my time with her to make sure I didn't cut any corners.
Even after spending so much time on her, I still feel like she needs some work.

Styling Notes

I used Hezachan's tutorial for her original Yoko wig. Femme Fatale base and Punky XL ponytail. I dyed them both with Katie Bair dye. Made them both a richer red.

Wig Review

I might be upgrading to an Arda Jeannie next time I have a go at this one. They have a good color, but I just need to figure out the whole sizing issue.
