About this Costume
Construction Details:
Yukata was made out of light pink cotton~ The bats were made with a lighter weight dark pink and white cotton and then heat-n-bonded onto the finished yukata piece. I tried to put the bats on as accurately to the pictures as I could but I seriously didn't feel like making different sized bats. SO SICK OF BATS YO. The collar detail is lace that I stitched onto the collars seam so that it wouldn't show on the top.

The nagajuban [inner piece] is just plain white because I wasn't sure what her inner piece looked like and it was safer to just go with white [and more useful].

The obi is a bright pink cotton with the same lace details sewed onto the edges. I took regular white satin ribbon and white scalloped ribbon and put them together and then made it go around the obi in the middle. I then took a fake flower and glued that ish right in the middle of the ribbon bow!

The hair piece is just another flower that I cut down so it wasn't so big on my head and then attached a string of pearls to it. The geta were just altered by me taking the same dark pink cotton and handstitching it around the straps so I could take them off when I wear them with a different outfit.

The fan was just a regular fan I had that I painted to make it gradient pink to white on the front and white on the back to match my pink theme and the cherry blossom theme.
Personal Thoughts:
WHY DO I KEEP WEARING SO MUCH PINK GODDAMN.
