Construction Details:

This was a little bit out of my comfort zone in that I've never done a strapless dress before. I altered a store-bought pattern and then sewed it to a Victoria Secret strapless bra. The tie was made from leftover satin. The petticoat is a 3 layer petticoat with a glittery layer on top for some glitz. The gloves are store-bought with the fingers cut off, and the hat is a basic fedora with the green trim glued on. I made the original flowers on this dress, but I was unsatisfied with the results, so I bought fake flowers and glued it onto the dress and the hat before I did this photoshoot.

Personal Thoughts:

I wore Gumi at Ani-Com in Hong Kong and had a blast! I later got to wear this for a photoshoot with a bunch of cosplayers that would later appear in a local magazine :)
