Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: The armor. It molds really nicely to Sam's body, even though it takes like 20 snaps and hooks to hold it in place.
Least Favorite Aspect: We don't really care for long wigs. :p Her belt looks pretty silly though. Maybe we can remake it, but because of how it's layered, it looks particularly thick, and I'd like to fix that.
Easiest Aspect: As with Fuu, it was buying the gloves and boots and altering them. Then, installing the LEDs came in as second easiest. Drafting the patterns for her over dress, belts, headpiece and armor were pretty easy too.
Hardest Aspect: Her sword. I was really set on not putting any metal in any of our sword bases to not even attempt to get in trouble with any convention for their "metal" rules, but because of how thin a rapier is, it was almost impossible to make her sword without it breaking in half since it had no inside support system. After three boards of wood though, lots of foul words from miscutting her dragons, and other errors, we finally got something to stay together and look prettyyyyy close.

Personal Thoughts:

I love CLAMP, and I don't even remember what happened anymore to make us want to do this because the inconsistencies in CLAMP's work as far as details go always drive us nuts, but I guess we were looking for something for the three of us to make together for our new cosplay group that was debuting this year, and Sam, Hailey, and I came up with this.
