Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: The wig. It has just the right amount of curl and fluff to it without it looking like a total anime bomb mess or afro. Tip: lots and lots of Got2Be. Also, the sword. It's made to-scale, so it stands at seven feet from tip of the blade to the tip of the hilt. :p

Least Favorite Aspect: The gauntlet, I guess? Fuu's actually came out the best, IMO. XD

Easiest Aspect: The boots and the gloves were bought, so that was pretty easy to alter. And actually, the LEDs were pretty easy to solder together and install this time around. I think we're getting the hang of lighting stuff up. :D Her armor was all hand drafted as well.

Hardest Aspect: Trying to get the armor to stand up and not flop all over the place. >:O And the gloves. OMG. We really wanted to make our gloves out of vinyl, like we did for Angelic Layer, but we ran out of the nice 2-way stretch vinyl that we had used for that, and we didn't have time to ship anymore in from overseas. Let's just say that the stuff in the fabric stores is NOT NICE and caused us WAY too many headaches, that we ended up crying a lot and just buying temporary satin gloves.

Personal Thoughts:

I love CLAMP, and I don't even remember what happened anymore to make us want to do this because the inconsistencies in CLAMP's work as far as details go always drive us nuts, but I guess we were looking for something for the three of us to make together for our new cosplay group that was debuting this year, and Sam, Hailey, and I came up with this.
