Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: Working on the keyblade with my dad. Even though he complains alot about my cosplaying hobby, any time I need a weapon, he's always really willing to help. And I had to practically beg to get him to let me paint and stuff on this keyblade after he finished sanding it down. He was so "ready to get started" on it, that he didn't feel like waiting for me sometimes. XD Ahhh, father-daughter bonding.

Least Favorite Aspect: I don't like the scalloped insert in the dress. It didn't really come out as defined as I wanted it after I layered it, but its not too bad. I also bought pink converses instead of purple, because I really didn't like the dark purple color I was finding. :/ So I painted them purple, and they're okay, but kind of hard to keep the tongue in place because of the paint-layers.

Easiest Task: Actually, it was putting the pink dress together. I was really impressed with how easily it came together. It's a little longer than most people make their dresses, but I think that's because I'm really short, and I kind of like it this way so I don't flash anyone. Haha.

I had some extra time before the con, so I went back and made the message in the bottle (with the poem. I went and got a screen cap of the poem so I could lay out the words exactly the way they should be), papou fruit (three of them), and lucky charm props. I took candy making in the fall too at my college and learned how to make the seasalt pops so we could have some real ones to munch on. The best part was letting these props work for both of my Kairi costumes.

Hardest Task: Everytime I looked at the references, I found something else that I'd overlooked before, be it a couple of studs (I swear I didn't see those side bag studs, and only on the front-side of the bag?!), or some back scallops. So, it was really annoying, but it was nice, because it really opened up my eyes to the tiny details.
