About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
This was my first time prop-making if it isn't already obvious enough! The fork was made from insulation foam, sealed to hell and back, and painted with like 20 coats. I made the shirt/cape from just plain cotton solids, and the tights/bloomers are store bought. The bow/muffler were both originally black and white polka dot fabrics which I dyed red so they became black and red. Overall considering it's the first cosplay I attempted making from scratch (though my attempt at making bloomers failed), I was pretty happy with how most of it came out, though I look forward to re-doing it someday!
- Personal Thoughts:
- I plan to re-do this some time soon in the future! I'd like to make the shirt looser fitting, and get a better fork in particular. I'd also like to fix the wings on my shoes and get better leggings. Maybe I can do this at next Katsucon :)

- Wig Review
- The wig was so small that it hardly fit and slid around all day! The fibers were very nice, though I don't know if they heat resistant. It also got a little thin at some points, like the top of the bangs.
