Construction Details:

These costumes were the first ones that I ever helped work on. Brittney's mother made a good majority of the costumes but we helped with hand sewing, a little bit of patterning when it came to belts and things, and we helped make decisions about the colors and fabrics. Brittney's mother was such a saint for doing most of the work on these costumes. and we had loads of fun wearing them. These were worn back in 2005 and this was my gateway costume into cosplay. Back then, I had no idea what to do with wigs, and thought that dying my hair was the best option for this character.... yeah, I have since gotten into the habit of purchasing wigs for all of my costumes, and even though this costume is now in retirement, I now have a nice, heat resistant wig for Hikaru's character.

Personal Thoughts:

As a kid, I loved this show. The character designs were always so adorable, and it was just perfect that there were three main characters, it made for a great group set of costumes.
