Construction Details:

I originally made a mock-up for Donna's jumpsuit using the leftover lining fabric I had for my Marceline dress. That eventually worked out pretty well and I used that as my actual lining for the jumpsuit, which was made with a four-way stretch spandex.

The stars were painted on using gold fabric paint and I drafted out at least three star stencils before painting them on in the first place. It was a bit of a hassle to get the right shape plus get all of the layers to show up well, but that turned out to be pretty neat.

The belt and cuffs were made using some metallic gold and silver vinyl and the cuffs were reinforced using some leftover batting from my Julie vest plus some white stretch lycra for lining. The belt also used the same batting to add some oomph and the "W" was made using some of the god vinyl with craft foam.

Personal Thoughts:

I was originally inspired by the Super Best Friends Forever short that was on Cartoon Network and Donna's character totally appealed to me. While it was a challenge to pull off her somewhat stoic character during photoshoots, the outfit was super fun to cosplay, especially with Mouse's Supergirl!
