Construction Details:

Favorite Aspect: The ears! Though they were the most expensive to obtain, they're the cutest things ever. >:D I love wearing them in public. Not to mention, that there were 7 other Chii's there, but I was the only Christmas one compared to the three worker Chiis. XD

Least Favorite Aspect: Ugh. After about an hour at the con, the felt and fur became SO HOT that I had to change. And the wig was HEAVY, even though I cut off about two feet from it, and it kept sliding off. So, after a few pictures, I changed out of it.

Easiest Task: The ears. >:D They were simple enough (bought from ebay). Saying "Chii!" and posing for pictures was easy too. XD

Hardest Task: Finding a pattern that could easily be remodeled for the costume style; and wearing the wig. It's actually an old Mrs. Claus design from...Simplicity, maybe? Minus the bodice, and with a shorter skirt. It was a lot of altering.

Personal Thoughts:

Inspiration: Wanting to find a costume for Chii that wasn't played much, and would still keep me semi-warm at the December con.

Also - Second costume EVER.
