Construction Details:

The armour? Yeah it's refinished marine fabric.
Yes it does look like thermoplastic.
It goes marine fabric (giant rolls at joann's)
cut, layer foam underneath, gesso, silver base, metalic silver, make it stone, metalic silver, lacquer.

This was also my first time totally making boots.
They came out ok. Weird thing that worked? I cut down two shoulder pads for the toe and heel and sewed them into the lining. This stopped the weird toe shape that was happening while I was walking around.

I loved how I couldn't get the top to stretch over my chest and then I sew on the trim and it stretches.

Personal Thoughts:

She was harder to make than I thought, I have a couple of things that I have to fix(namely the top) and a few details but she was fun- next time her wedding dress (and maybe I'll remember to wear make-up besides body paint?)

Styling Notes

I used a hot iron and gel/spray to form the bangs into shape and height.

Wig Review

I like the thickness but I didn't love the color- I had actually bought it for another cosplay in an emergency and it wound up perfect for Star.
