About this Costume
Construction Details:
The wig is a lace front that's half human hair half synthetic, cut and styled to fit Loki's style. The scarf is 100% hand painted and made (I made this costume soon after the movie and no pre-made fabric matching his scarf were out yet- these lucky kids these days) and took the most time out of anything. The jacket is hand made from an altered tuxedo jacket pattern. The staff is clay on a base of a simple magicians cane, hand painted, and the gem in the middle is cast out of resin.
Personal Thoughts:
This costume was something new for me and something I really enjoyed. As soon as I saw The Avengers I knew I had to do Loki's suit. Mainly because at the time, that was where my skill level was at. As I grow I plan on making his entire ensemble from The Avengers, but for now, I am very proud of this one!
