Construction Details:

The skirt was made from scratch ( I LOATHE pleated skirts! ) and the blouse was bought at a secondhand store. It was originally a large mens dress shirt. I cut it at the seams and reassembled it to fit ( I basically just didn't want to sew buttons and buttonholes which I didn't end up using anyways... >_> ). The ruffles were made with additional medium weight cotton to hold their crisp shape.

( and the boots were an amazing end up season clearance find $200 on sale for $70 from some online store I had never heard of and can't remember at all )

Personal Thoughts:

A comfy, cool costume for the last day of the convention.
