Construction Details:

This costume was more time consuming to make than I expected. It's always the ones you least expect!lol I had a hard time finding an argyle sweater or vest that had the colors i wanted, so I took on the task of making it myself. Over 5o cut diamond shapes and heat and bond and wa-la! The skirt and tie were made out of tweed. This fabric was so difficult to work with since if you cut it, right away it starts to unravel and the plaid patterns start to come undone. So fast and delicate was how I needed to sew this. The horn and ears like the rest of my pony cosplay is made out of fleece and attached to the wig. The wig was from my Nayuki from Kanon cosplay. I bought 3 packs each of purple and pink hair extensions and added them to the dark blue base wig.
The scarf I made months later as a winter wrap up joke since spring is supposed to be here. The Winter Wrap up Scarf was made by sewing strips of the 2 colored fleece pieces together and then I double sided it so the seams were in the inside and not showing.
