About this Costume
Construction Details:
Shirt: v. 1 - not sure what type of fabric it is but my first shirt I ever made it was a good learning experience I drafted my own puff sleeve pattern for it and it had custom made bias tape sewn on.
v. 2- Sateen, different shirt pattern this time with princess seams because I liked the fit better. It opens in the back via invisible zipper because I couldn't make the opening in the front look right, has proper cuffs on the sleeves and better looking bias tape

Sleeves: I made up a pattern and then faked the cuffs. Same material as the first shirt. Will be remade similarly but with better cuffs.

Skirt: 1 and a half circle skirts with an elastic waistband. Brown bias tape sewn to the hem. Golden organza was used

Corset: Brown moleskin with a brown posh lining. A 6 panel underbust corset which was created from an altered Simplicity pattern. White steel boning was used to hold the shape and the bias tape is the same as the shirt(s) the belt pieces are from a belt I found at Rainbow and they have been glued down and the keepers painted silver. I used a crocheted lace for the white detail

Socks were bought
Shoes were bought and custom painted with acrylic craft paint

Gloves: were originally nude colored colorguard gloves that were dyed brown with RIT dye

Cap: is a buckram hat base covered in the same moleskin as the corset. The feathers are from a boa and are hotglued on

Soul gem: pieces of decorative wire cut into C shapes and glued to a cardstock base. The center is found acrylic gem embedded into model magic painted gold.
Personal Thoughts:
This was a huge undertaking and is still being improved upon. I am very pleased with how it came out, especially my wig. I used Dolly EOS contacts in brown.
