About this Costume
- Construction Details:
-
As usual, this is mostly a closet costume: already owned shoes, socks, shirt and pullover. Skirt was (again) the same as Nagisa/Seiko. I only had to make her bunny pin badge with paperclay, sew the red bias tape to the pullover collar and make her ribbon. Dera was made with felt, wire and foam in 10 hours approximately and it was my very first plushie ever, so it ended up looking just ok (lolno, it has a ton of errors and crappy looking places), but I hope to improve my plushie-making skills :3
- Personal Thoughts:
- I swear someday I'll make an elaborate costume again instead of cosplaying high school characters combining my various uniforms :_D But I couldn't resist cosplaying Tamako, she's so cute! Can't fool anyone though, my favorite character is actually Dera (who doesn't love an elitist fat bird with such an elaborate manner of speech? <3). And because I actually put this together the morning before the con, I couldn't make a fat bird costume, so I decided to cosplay her and make a little Dera instead :P
Wig Details
- Wig Brand
- Unknown
- Wig Name
- Long Basic w/ Bangs
- Original Color:
- Black
- Styling Time
- 3 hours
- Wig Quality Rating
- 3 / 5.00
- Styling Notes
- Wig was one of the two I bought for one of those who-knows-when-I'll-do-it projects of mine. Bangs were already cut pretty much perfectly for Tamako: I only cut and styled her kinks/flips and ahoge and made two low ponytails (I also made her characteristic mochi-shaped hairties).
