The ears were pretty simple. A triangle and a larger triangle shape of fur fabric were sewn together. I sewed a third piece under them with some fluff and craft foam stuffed inside. A couple barrettes were glued and sewed too.
The tails were a challenge for me, as I had difficulty finding 9-tailed fox tutorials around. I winged it by sewing 5 tails together, and left 4 tails hanging down. They were lightly filled with fluff, since they were too heavy if they were fully stuffed. The ends were tied to a belt, which was hidden underneath my dress, but above the skirt. I used some white fabric instead of fur near the belt area where the tails would go under the dress, since I didn't want the fluff to add awkward volume under my dress. Some elastic straps were purchased from Walmart and sewn + glued so they would stay upright.
The straps caused some pain if worn for more than a couple hours, and they stretched out a bit. I'm hoping to do another skin of Ahri with improved tails next time.
Dress was made by my stepmom, and edited by myself. The glowing orb was purchased from ElectronicGirl on Etsy. The wig was trimmed by my friend, Kalie. - Personal Thoughts:
- The tails and ears were made by myself, but the glowing orb was purchased from a girl on Etsy. The dress was made by my step mom for my birthday, and I made some adjustments to it then picked out some shoes. Hoping to have some yellow contacts next time I wear this!
