About this Costume

Least Favorite Task: It's actually the bikini. It was my first time making my own patterns, and I'm happy with the outcome, but there were so few reference pictures... But, like I said, I wasn't very comfortable with drafting my own patterns, but I'm not terribly disappointed for my first time either.
Hardest Task: It was actually a lot harder than expected to make a costume that conforms to a body that never moves. You can't ask them to bend a certain way to fit something.
Favorite Aspect: Working with leather. :3 It's actually a lot easier to sew than I thought it would be. Everything came together really nicely, and I'm glad I went through with it.

- Funny story about this...
I met this waiter (now one of my good friends) at an Applebee's when I lived in New Orleans. After chatting with him for some time about what I do (making "comic costumes"), he asked if I would be interested in making his friend a Storm costume. I agreed, and one day, while driving to his home to get some measurements, he texted me and said:
"I hope you're not freaked out, but I lied. The costume isn't for a friend. It's for a mannequin." XD
Apparently, he was an avid collector of Storm items, and needed me to commission him a life sized Storm costume for a mannequin he had bought and painted to look like her.
It was the most interesting commission I've had to date.
